A'darling Birth Story17th October'2010, had been feeling v uncomfortable. Backaching like nobody's business, lower abdomen cramps & pelvic bone pain. As usual, I thought it's another Bhc. So I napped with Weixing in the afternoon, all the way till 6plus at night.. My Fil came in & asked us whether we wanna go "jiatoh" with my Bil,Mil&Him. But we didn't wanna go, so I went to shower as it's freaking hot. Around 7plus, Weixing & I on called Macdee.. And at this point of time, my Bhc became quite frequent & the cramps is making me uncomfortable. And for idk why, on this particular day after showering I wore a pad(Just suddenly felt like wearing,lol) then while waiting for Macdee to come I was outside @ the living room chatting with Weixing's granny. Just then macdee delivery man came, and I went to take the food & all suddenly felt like got something dripping down.. I told Weixing bout it & I went to the toilet to check after that, it's in plain color.. No spotting or whatsoever so I just thought Nate it's nothing so I told Weixing should be fine. Then i just didn't care & happily eat my Macdee while at the same time was whatsapping with LinBaby telling her bout it. While sitting down or standing up, my Bhc felt more frequent & intense.. Making me realise that it's coming on & off, so I asked LinBaby to time for me. And LinBaby was saying she think I'm rlly gonna give birth the moment I asked her to "time" for me. And I kept telling nyself it's another false alarm, as A'darling always give me false alarm! :/ then LinBaby & i were like timing.. Decided to observe till like 12mn, that time was ard 9pm.. Then I told Mommy Joycelyn bout it too.. And she asked me to observe also.. And it goes onto 10pm .. Told Weixing, and he told my Mil. Mil asked me to make a trip down to the hospital for safety precaution be it it's to let then check or I'm really gonna deliver .. I was kinda scare & reluntant .. I'm afraid it's gonna be another false alarm go down waste $$ only. LinBaby was advising me to go to the hospital too as my contractions is getting nearer & closer tgt like once every 4-6mins. So decided to go hospital, went to shower first. Weixing was like excited, after showering double checkmu hospital bag while weixing was showering. 11:30pm, my Mil & Fil came to fetch me to TMC. 12AM, was strapped on CTG to monitor my contractions. Regular contractions once every 4-6mins as usual. Cervix checked was 1cm dilated only -.- Since the last checkup with Dr Sim 1cm dilated, near to a week liao STILL 1CM DILATED, WDF. The midwives asked Weixing to do my admission for me, then she inserted a liquid to let me pass motion easily, Shiok(LOL). 1AM, asked the midwives bout my contractions & she said "Mild contractions AFTER you pangsai" LOL?! I was like, huh? Ok? I was thinking sekali another false alarm lo! Hahaha. 2AM, another midwives came in to check on my Contractions, then she said i still have a long way to go. They predicted i might give birth the next day noon, latest night. So she suggested Weixing to go home to rest first but Weixing was kinda reluntant to leave me alone. Thinking that what she said made sense, so i persuaded Weixing to go home to rest too(LOL, bad decision) Weixing left @ bout 2:30AM. After he left, 5-10mins later .. The real pain LAI LIAO LO. The contractions became much more intense & frequent compared to when he was around, nightmares x.X But i still can tweet & text with Weixing tho, muahahaha! Weixing was sms-ing with me & telling me somethings that touched me & i teared(not bec of the pain). 3AM, Suddenly felt a gush of water rushed down my vaginal area .. I pressed the bell for the midwives. Pain was terrible, horrible & _____(Any word you wanna fill in here) An old Midwives(She's very naise!) came & i told her about the unknown gush of water dripping down, & she said my waterbag had ruptured. Then she checked my cervix, 1.5cm dilated. Knnb, 0.5cm dilated nia. She gave me the laughing gas & taught me how to use it. Was sniffing the laughing gas all the way, Weixing was telling me sniff the laughing gas will laugh?.? I sniffed alrd, also no laugh! Bluff me! But i was damn high i know :/ The midwives that suggested Weixing to go home to rest first came too, she asked me whether i wanna call Weixing to come back to give me moral support-.- Tmd, ask him go home also she then now ask him come back again. Fun ah. As i'm in terrible pain, i agreed & she went to call him. Another midwives placed a mini toilet bowl underneath for the water to drip into it. 3:30AM, i was super high & "seh" alrd.. The midwives said that Weixing is not picking up the call, so i called & texted him too, Guessed he fallen asleep. Kept texting him & finally he woke up. Then the background i was hearing the midwives dk saying what thing, & the next moment i know i was being pushed into the Labour Ward.. In a horrible pain that i kept strungling on the bed, i kept gripping the railing of the bed & kicking my leg.. And i was pulling my hair(LOL). Midwives asked whether i wanted Epidural several times, i kept declining saying i was aiming to go through it w/o Epidural.. The naise old Midwives helped me to get my urine out as A'darling's head was pressing onto my bladder causing me unable to pass urine.. She put a tube into my vaginal, i shouted pain & she asked me to sniff the laughing gas & i followed what she said & felt better. Hahaha, Then she asked me whether i wanna inject my thigh so it won't be so painful the contractions. Thinking it might helps, i agreed. Injected, no differences -___- 4AM, Weixing finally reached. The time when he wasn't around felt like days! The midwives went to call my Gynae to inform her as i'll be giving birth anytime from the waterbag ruptured & the contractions pain. I thought it won't be so fast as i was only 1.5cm dilated ? -.- I was seriously in pain when Weixing reached, & i know he was laughing @ me lo. Tmd, bec from my blur vision i can see him looking @ me smiling somemore -__- Then he sat beside my bed & played his iphone-.- & i was strungling throughout with the horrible unbearable pain T__T But honestly, i was damn tired.. The urge to shit & push was terrible! Midwives said that's A'darling head descending down thats why i felt like shitting. But honestly all thanks to the laughing gas i managed to fall asleep for few seconds & few mins to catch my breath before the next contractions came along.. 5AM, i couldn't tahan the pain anymore .. I went berserk, i pressed the bell continously & when the midwives came in i shouted " Inject me! I want Epidural, pls inject me now!! " LOL. The midwives checked my cervix & said to me " My dear, you're 7cm dilated alrd .. Go without Epidural okay? " Upon hearing that, i said " Serious? Bloody hell, steady lah! I tong throughout without epidural! " And she was encouraging me saying i'll give birth in another hour time & when my gynae reach i can start to push alrd.. I love the old midwives lo, she's so naise. Like my mother, ease my mind. HAHAHA. The waiting time for Dr sim was like how i waited for Weixing, so damn long zzz. Finally at around 5:30am, when i could hear her laughter & her voice .. I told myself, My rescuer finally arrived! And i could feel the midwives preparing all the tools & Weixing was standing right next to me holding the back of my neck .. Then my leg was lifted up on two idk what .. On pushing position alrd, then my gynae was teaching me how to push with the help of the midwives .. Okay, totally like shitting the feeling .. 123 push & all .. When i pushed with all my mights, the feeling felt like i'm having terrible super duper terrible constipation.. Like a super huge shit was stuck in my asshole & i need to push as hard as i could to get it out to feel better. Lol, First push, Second push i felt something coming out, Third push something popped out .. Then everyone was saying "One more hard push!!!!" I pushed with all my mights, felt something slippery slipped out of my vaginal. LOL.. Then i heard the whining sounds, A'darling was out @ 5:53Am... OMG. The unexplainable feeling when i heard his cries. Felt like crying but i was too tired to cry.. I started to regain my vision slowly, Weixing was smiling from one end to another. And i was starting to get excited, searched for my phone as i wanna call Mommy Joycelyn to tell her.. While Dr Sim was stitching up for me, i was texting & tweeting.. LOL. All the pain had cover up the stitching pain x.X The moment A'darling was brought to me & placed beside me, the feeling inside me is like i've found my long lost kin.. Felt like i've know him for a very long time but yet another feeling inside me was undescribable. A'darling was looking around the room & me with his big eyes with a frowning expression. After that, i was pushed into my Ward.. Weixing's face jitao cannot maintain, kept smiling. LOL.. Just like the day we got married.. All the pain was worthwhile the moment i hear A'darling cries, him being placed bside me & the first time i set my eyes on him. I finally know what does " Love @ first sight " felt like .. And when i see Weixing's smiles, all the pain & horrible pushing was long forgotten..
